Cookbook Club Cookie Swap

Get out your best Christmas cookie recipes and join us for the 4rd Annual Cookbook Club Cookie Swap on

Tuesday , Dec. 8th at 6:30pm.

Make a double batch of your best cookie and bring it to the library for a cookie swap! We’ll have large festive platters available for you to fill, wrap, and take home. All bakers welcome!

Calling all knitters and neddle crafters!  Join Hooks & Needles the 2nd Friday of the month at the Mont Vernon Fire Dept. Community Room to share your latest project.  Group meets Friday, November 14th from 12-2pm. New members always welcome!

Community Food Drive for Share @ the Library

SHARE has put the cry out for donations!  Help support your neighbors in  the towns of Milford, Amherst, Mont Vernon, Brookline, and Wilton by dropping off donations to support the shortage. Items listed below can be dropped off during open hours at the Daland Memorial Library Nov. 1st-29th. We will take care of delivery to SHARE in Milford.  Thank you for you donations!

 

Pantry Most Wanted List
• Nonperishable meat and proteins: Beef stew, chicken stew, chili, tuna, lentil soup, peanut butter, nutritional drinks for seniors (i.e. Ensure)
• Dried goods and canned goods: All canned fruits and vegetables, pastas and pasta sauce, canned and bottled juices, dried beans and peas, rice, breakfast cereals and oatmeal, bread, soups, cooking oils
• Dairy: Shelf-Stable milk (including almond)
• Healthy Snacks
• Baby items: Baby foods, diapers, wipes
Can’t make to the library to donate items?  Donations are always gratefully accepted.
SHARE Financial Donations
There are several ways to make a financial gift:
• Make a check payable to SHARE Outreach, Inc. and mail to 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055
• Stop by the SHARE Center during business hours and make a cash or gift card donation.

 

 

It’s Fall Y’all!  The leaves are falling and it’s time to carve the pumpkins!!  Listen in to this new episode to hear all the excitement at the library as we head towards Halloween…candy collection, mini pumpkin hunt, Witch Walk and of course Trick or Treating in Mont Vernon!!  Get your costumes on and stop by the library on Halloween
