• REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS IS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4th 10-8! Space is limited based on returning students.

Join us for an evening of civic engagement and meet the candidates running for Selectman, Town Moderator, and MVVS School Board.  Come mingle with your neighbors in the programing room at the new library and ask questions of the candidates before you vote.  Refreshments will be served.

On behalf of the Daland Memorial Library Board of Trustees, we invite you to join us at the NEW Daland Memorial Library Grand Opening on

Sunday, February 22nd from 10:00am-2:00pm.

The celebration will start at 10:00am with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by guest speakers and tours of the facility.

The event is open to the public, and patrons of all ages are encouraged to visit. This highly anticipated event is proudly sponsored by the Mont Vernon Library Charitable Foundation.

Closure Dates: The current library will close on Monday, Feb. 9th to move the collection, new furnishings, and technology into the new library over the span of a week. The staff will spend a week to be trained on the functions of the new facility before the Grand Opening on Sunday, Feb. 22nd. The new library will reopen for operations on Tuesday, February 24th. We look forward to welcoming you to the NEW Daland Memorial Library.

Calling all needle crafters! Grab your yarn and needles and join us on Friday, January 9th from 12-2 at the Mont Vernon Fire Department Community Room.

New members always welcome!

Do you love cookbooks and cooking? Join the Cookbook Club this year to make and try new foods from our monthly cookbook selection. This month, we will be cooking out of “The Weekday Vegetarians” by Jenny Rosenstrach. Borrow a cookbook from the library, pick a recipe, and bring your dish to our potluck meeting meal on Tuesday, Jan. 27th at 6:30pm. The library will provide all the tableware and drinks. New chefs always welcome!
