On Tuesday November 4th, come to the Daland Memorial Library any time between 10:00am and 5:00pm to vote for your favorite Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book and enter to win a copy of the 9th book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. 2nd and 3rd place in the drawing will be first and second to check out the Library Copy!

Bring your carved pumpkin to the library on Friday, October 31st and add it to our annual library jack o’ lantern display for all of Mont Vernon to see. Happy, scary, big or small; drop off your pumpkin and we’ll light them all! Drop off pumpkins any time on Halloween.

Bonkers for Books junior book club for 3rd and 4th graders had a fantastically fun 1st meeting! Moveable Mummies and Rock Pumpkins
Saturday, October 4th from 1:00-2:00pm. Join the fun at the Library as we make our own moveable mummy and rock pumpkins. This project will be sure to get you in a spooky mood for Halloween.
