The Brook Trout is New Hampshire’s only native stream-dwelling trout, and a favorite among freshwater anglers and outdoor enthusiasts as a symbol of the wild outdoors. Learn about the natural history of Brookies, including their habitat, spawning, prey and predators, and threats to their abundance. We will also learn about efforts to restore wild trout populations and return this majestic fish to New Hampshire’s streams. Mont Vernon resident Rich Masters, a volunteer Wildlife Steward with New Hampshire Fish and Game, Environmental Engineer, and Adjunct Professor of Environmental Sciences at Southern New Hampshire University will present on Tuesday Sept. 22nd at 6:30pmpm via ZOOM. Zoom invitation will be posted closer to the event. All ages welcome!
