Daland Memorial Library

This presentation by historian George Morrison will be an illustrated introduction to NH’s Civil War monuments and memorials. Mr. Morrison has located, inventoried and photographed a variety of monuments and will share his discoveries of early obelisks to statues, cast iron ,murals, artillery, stained glass and buildings from the 1860s through the 1920s. Sponsored by the MV Historical Society and the Daland Memorial Library and funded by the NH Humanities Council, this program will take place on Thursday, April 25 at 7pm in the MV Fire Department Community Room.
