On Saturday, April 21, at Lois Boericke’s “Gardens by Design” workshop at the Mont Vernon Congregational Church raffle tickets for an originally designed succulent dish garden will be available from 10 a.m. to 12:30: p.m. Tickets may be purchased
individually for $1, or 6 tickets for $5. Tickets will also be sold on Spring Gala Day, Saturday, May 19, at the library. No need to be present for the drawing that day. Also
for sale on the 21st will be a few Heavenly Blue Morning Glories and Mammoth Sunflowers that Green Thumb Gardener Dorothy Ledner has started at her home. They will need to be
protected from the cold and planted mid-May at the earliest.
Proceeds are used to support Daland Memorial Library programs and also used to care for the library gardens and Joanne Griffin’s Memorial Garden at Lamson Farm.
